Bishop Donald A Campbell, Diocese of Glasgow This pull-out from a publishing proof shows a bespactacled Bishop Campbell seated in a chair and holding a book in his left hand; Bishop Campbell was born in the Braes of Lochaber in 1894 and ordained priest in 1920 at the Scots College, Rome; he was appointed Bishop of Argyll and the Isles in 1939 then in 1945 was appointed Bishop of Glasgow; Bishop Campbell died at Lourdes on 22nd July 1963, aged 68.
