Duncan MacLean died 21st August 1969 age 75 years; Provost of the Chapter of Argyll and the Isles; A native of the Isle of Barra, he was ordained in Rome on 15th April, 1922 and served as parish priest in St Michael's, Laggan; St Mary's, Bornish; St. Peter's, Daliburgh, and finally for 28 years in St Mun's Dunoon. 1969
