The editorial focuses mainly on the Solemn Blessing and Opening of the Cardinal Bourne School at Broxbourne on 27 September 1961 by Bishop David Cashman,. There are also references to the building of the new parish church and the opening of a permanent chapel in St Monica's Priory.
