  <dc:title>Correspondence: Miss Foley's Bequest</dc:title>
<dc:description>Correspondence relating to the proposed donation of £1,000 to the Stonyhurst section of the Club in Fr Fletcher's parish, St Charles Square. The money was donated by Miss A E Foley, who, at the advice of various members of clergy such as Fr C C Martindale, dispense grants of money to various parishes throughout the Diocese. It is not clear why this correspondence is held in the St Charles Square parish material, other than the mention of Fr Fletcher's club. Correspondence from Fr C C Martindale, who was based at the Farm Street Church in Mayfair, wrote to the Cardinal on this matter from the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, St John's Wood.</dc:description>
