A Short History A brief history of the Church of St Anselm and St Cecilia, based on Johanna H Harting's 1905 'History of the Sardinian Chapel, Lincoln's Inn Fields'. It includes a list of Chaplains of the Sardinian Chapel (1730-1854), Rectors of the Old Church (1854-1909), Rectors of the New Church (1909-1959) ,Asistant-Chaplains (1730-1822) and a list of priests whose names appear in the sacramental registers of the Lincoln's Inn Fields Chapel (1760-1832). The book also includes an illustrated article on 'The Plate of the Chapel of the Sardinian Embassy' by Charles Oman, former Kepper of the Department of Metal Work at the V&A Museum. 1967
