  <dc:description>A mounted black and white photograph of Cardinal Bourne travelling in the back seat of a car with a priest seated to his left. The caption on the inside of the mount reads 'His Eminence Cardinal Bourne at the Slipper Chapel, August 19th 1934.' The image was taken on the day of the Pilgrimage to Walsingham, Norfolk, to the shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Bourne conducted the service which took place at the Slipper Chapel. This was the first national pilgrimage to Walsingham for four hundred years.
