  <dc:description>Correspondence and informatation sent to the Diocese of Southwark relating to the Westminster Conference on Addiction, an Ecumenical Conference of committed  Christians concerned with all aspects of alcohol and of alcoholism, and with the pastoral care of addicts, held on 22 May 1968 in the Library at Clergy House, Westminster Cathedral. It includes a list of those attending the conference, as well as those sending their apologies, together with an agenda and notes circulated to members of the working party set up by the Conference. There is also a notice regarding the Westminster Conference on Addiction held at Westminster Abbey in October 1968. Correspondence to Mgr Strand and Cyril Conrad Cowderoy, Archbishop of Southwark, was from the Convenor of the Westminster Conference on Addiction, Joseph S Honan.</dc:description>
