Description	This photograph shows an engraving of Bishop John Geddes by R Scott and states that it is from an original painting by J Fraser; Bishop Geddes was born on 9th September 1735 and ordained priest on 18th March 1759; he was appointed Coadjutor Vicar Apostolic of Lowland District on 30th September 1779 and, on the same date, appointed Titular Bishop of Marocco o Marruecos, Titular Sees; he was ordained Titular Bishop of Marocco o Marruecos, Titular Sees on 30th November 1780; he resigned as Coadjutor Vicar Apostolic of Lowland District on 26th October 1797 and died on 11th February 1799.
