Description	This photograph shows Mgr McRoberts on the day of his ordination in Rome, 18th December 1937, standing in a solemn pose in the sunshine with his hands crossed. Mgr McRoberts was Keeper of the Scottish Catholic Archives in Edinburgh from 1973. He was also Editor of the Scottish Catholic Directory from 1950 to 1974. He was born in Wishaw on 13th June 1912 and died in Edinburgh on 25th November 1978, aged 66.
