Description	This pull out from a publishing proof shows a photograph of Bishop Donald Mackintosh, wearing his pectoral crucifix; Bishop Mackintosh was born on 10th October 1877 in Inverness-shire and ordained a priest in Rome on 1 November 1900; he was nominated Archbishop of Glasgow on 24th February 1922 and consecrated at Rome on 21st May 1922; he died on 8th December 1943 in Bearsden.
