DescriptionThis photograph, dated 21 October 1938 on the back, shows the exterior of St Ninian's Church in Tynet, the famous "Sheep-cot Chapel" of Persecution Days served frequently by Bishop Hay and built in 1755; the photograph shows a rather bleak-looking long building in a rural setting; as at 2009, St Ninian's Church is served from Buckie.
