Description
This photograph shows a derelict-looking St Michael's Church in Ballogie, which was built in 1858; the two buildings appear to be in a dilapidated condition and are framed by three tall trees; the last entry for St Michael's Church, Ballogie, in The Catholic Directory appears in the 1931 edition, at which time the church was served from Aboyne [so presumably the church closed around 1932]; hand-written notes on the back of the photograph state "St Michael's Ballogie, The Deeside Mission, as in 1966".
