Description	The bulk of the letters in this collection are copies of letters written by ecclesiastical superiors in England to their agents in Rome, and letters on official business from these agents back to London and to other officials and agents.
Admin_History	Archbishop Wiseman kept these papers at Golden Square, Archbishop Manning handed them in the summer of 1876 to the Brompton Oratory for safe keeping, at the turn of the twentieth century they came to Archbishop's House and the work of classifying, cataloguing and binding began.
