Description	Correspondence relating to the bequest of Mrs Eliza Ainsworth Eyre and donation from her daughter, Edith Eyre. The money given by the family cleared much of the debt that the recently constructed church and presbytery of Our Lady of Compassion, Willesden Green, had incurred. It was a condition of the bequest that the dedication of the church be changed to St Mary Magdalen. The file includes a letter from Edward J Eyre, the son of Eliza Ainsworth Eyre, regarding the bequests from his mother and sister.
