Description	Documents relating to the proposal to merge the parish of Bow Common with Limehouse. These include a Preliminary Review of The Holy Name and our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish, Bow Common [November 2000] which gives a breakdown of the four main issues affecting the continued existence of Bow Common parish, namely the change in local demographics, the shorfall in the number of priests, the geographical location, and the financial situation. There are also minutes of an open parish meeting of The Holy Name and our Lady of the Sacred Heart held on 1 February 2001 to discuss the proposal to merge the parish with Limehouse and lease the church to the Vietnamese community. The minutes are signed by the priest in charge, Fr Aidan P Rossiter. There is also a copy of the legal proposal drawn up to merge the parishes of Holy Name, Bow Common and Our Lady Immaculate, Limehouse, and lease the property at Bow Common to the Vietnamese Community.
