Description	Correspondence and articles relating to various activities promoting Christian Co-operation, following the joint statement of common Christian ideals presented at the Waldorf Hotel, London, 28 May 1942. These initiatives included 'The Church Looks Forward', a meeting held at the Royal Albert Hall on 26 September 1942. Speakers included the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, the Bishop of Bristol, Miss E C Knight-Bruce and Sir Stafford Cripps, KC MP. Extracts from their speeches were broadcast by the BBC and the file includes a copy of 'A Listener Research Report' on the impact of this programme as well as published copies of the speeches. The file also contains correspondence and information relating to a Churches Group Conference held at the Bonnington Hotel, London, on 5-6 October 1942, and arrangements and minutes for Joint Committee meetings, including a list of names and addressed for members of the Joint Committee. There are also statements by the Bishop of London, the Free Church and the Catholic church on the subject of religious freedom
